報(bào)告摘要:

Metallic nanostructures attract considerable interest in the past two decades due to their outstanding capability of concentrating light at the deep subwavelength scale. The direct consequence of this effect is the ultrasmall mode volume of the optical modes that can boost the light-matter interaction. On the other hand, momolayer transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) show excellent optoelectronical properties that arose significant enthusiasm. The integration of metal nanostructures with TMDs joints the good sides from the two constitutes, leading to extra functionalities that are appealing for integrated nanophotonic applications. In this talk, I will show that the combination of proper chosen metal nanorods with a monolayer WSe2 yields hybrid states (plexcitons) resulting from the strong coupling of plasmons and excitons [1]. Rabi splitting as large as 49.5 meV can be obtained at room temperature. In a nanoparticle-over-miror (NPOM) system, the single atom layer behaves as a well define probe for surface enhanced Raman scattering [2] and fluorescence emission [3]. Finally, by combining the strong second order nonlinearity of monolayer TMDs with crystallined silver nanowires, plasmonic fibers [4], we show how to realize momentum-conversed second harmonic generation (SHG) for surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs). Transversely divergent but axially collimated SHG output from the hybrid system is observed by Fourier imaging [5].

張順平,武漢大學(xué)物理科學(xué)與技術(shù)學(xué)院副教授。2008年本科畢業(yè)于中山大學(xué),20131月在中國(guó)科學(xué)院物理研究所獲得博士學(xué)位,隨后加盟武漢大學(xué)物理學(xué)院,20154月起任副教授。主要研究領(lǐng)域?yàn)楸砻娴入x激元光子學(xué)、納米光子學(xué),近期在納米腔中的光與物質(zhì)相互作用、等離激元波導(dǎo)中的二階非線性過(guò)程以及超靈敏納米光學(xué)傳感器研究方面有突破性進(jìn)展。已在Phys. Rev. Lett.Nat. Commun.PNAS、Nano Lett.ACS Nano等雜志上發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文30篇,H-index17。
