講座人簡介：Winnie Cheng女士，是香港理工大學人文學院副院長，英文系教授，英語職業(yè)交際研究中心（RCPCE）主任。她是香港人文學院創(chuàng)院院士（Founding Fellow of the HongKong Academy of the Humanities）。其研究興趣為專門用途英語，跨文化語用學與交際，語料庫語言學，會話分析，批評話語分析，話語語調(diào)。著作：Enhancing students’professional competence and generic qualities throughwriting in English across the curriculum(2014),Exploring corpus linguistics: Language inaction(2012),A corpus-driven analysis of discourseintonation(2008), andInterculturalconversation(2003)。論文刊發(fā)：Applied Linguistics, English for Specific Purposes, InternationalJournal of Corpus Linguistics, Journal of Pragmatics, Language Awareness,Language Testing, Pragmatics,andText &Talk.。
